About Eliza

My work is about connection, to our friends and family, our dreams, our roots. Through a lens of nostalgia, I explore common experiences in an unexpected way. I create for people who are craving an authentic touch point in the digital age–a way of feeling closer to what really matters to them.

Most often, I make digital portraits of objects and animals that are colorful and relatable, while evoking a bit of vintage charm. I’m also a huge animal advocate. I frequently work with PAWS Chicago as well as Canine Companions for Independence, and love to create custom pet portraits for families with fur babies around the world. If you love animals as much as I do, be sure to check out my Project Adopt Me! series, where $1 of every card purchase goes straight to animals in need.

I earned my MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I continue to teach Visual Communications. I have been an Illustrator, Maker, and practicing Graphic Designer for more years than I'd like to admit.
